About Guardian Armor Care

Guardian Armor Care was founded by Joshua Gilbert, a law enforcement professional with more than 20 years of experience serving Central Ohio. His career has included patrol, investigations and specialized investigative assignments, giving him firsthand experience with the demands placed on officers and the equipment they rely on every day. Joshua holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice Administration from Franklin University.

The idea for Guardian Armor Care came from recognizing a simple problem: officers wear their external carriers through long shifts and in all kinds of conditions, but properly cleaning them is difficult when they are covered with the equipment officers depend on. Removing, cleaning and accurately reassembling that equipment takes time, attention to detail and accountability. Joshua created Guardian Armor Care to provide a professional solution designed around the way law enforcement actually works.

Carrier care matters because this isn't just another piece of clothing; it is part of an officer's duty equipment for survival. Guardian Armor Care is built around careful documentation, disassembly, cleaning, inspection and precise reassembly, so officers can have confidence that their carrier comes back in the same configuration it was received in.

We provide professional cleaning, sanitizing, disassembly and reassembly of body armor carriers for law enforcement, fire departments, security and other first responders.
